Privacy Policy
PostBaton is a social media scheduling service operated by NJLIGames LLC ("PostBaton", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions about privacy go to info@postbaton.com.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and workspace details when you sign up.
- Content you create. The posts, captions, media, schedules, and analytics you add to PostBaton so we can publish and report on them.
- Connected social accounts. When you connect a platform, that platform gives us an access token so we can publish on your behalf. We store the token securely and use it only to perform the actions you ask for.
- Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details. We receive limited billing data such as your plan, status, and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage and device data. Basic logs, IP address, and product usage events that help us keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: scheduling, publishing exactly once, and reporting results back to you.
- To operate your account, process billing, and provide support.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
- To send you service messages (for example, a publishing failure alert or a password reset). Marketing email, if any, is opt-out.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you schedule to train advertising profiles.
Your connected social accounts
PostBaton acts on your behalf only when you tell it to. We publish a post when you schedule or approve it, and we read the metrics for posts you have published. We do not read your private messages, and we do not post anything you have not asked us to. You can disconnect any platform at any time, which revokes our access token for that account.
How we share information
We share data only with service providers that help us run PostBaton, under agreements that limit their use of it. These include our hosting and database providers, our object storage and email providers, our error-monitoring provider, and Stripe for payments. When you publish, your content is sent to the social platforms you selected, and their handling is governed by their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users. A current list of our service providers is available on request at info@postbaton.com.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from your account settings, or by contacting info@postbaton.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. We honor valid requests and never require you to run a retention maze to leave.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted storage of connected-account tokens, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but reliability and safety are the point of PostBaton, and we treat your data accordingly.
Cookies
The PostBaton app uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and keep the product working. The marketing website uses minimal analytics to understand traffic. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Children
PostBaton is for people aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
International users
PostBaton is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, your information is processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
